Meet Dr. Maya Saketkhou

Originally from South Florida, Dr. Maya Saketkhou discovered her passion for healthcare early on by watching her parents make a meaningful impact in their community. Inspired by a childhood dentist who made every visit feel comfortable and positive, she knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue dentistry and provide that same reassuring experience to her own patients.

Dr. Saketkhou earned her BA in Biology from Yeshiva University in New York City, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She further advanced her clinical training through an AEGD residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

An active member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association, Dr. Saketkhou is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education to stay current with evolving techniques, technology, and clinical research. She is especially passionate about helping patients overcome dental anxiety, addressing urgent needs with compassion, and creating confident, healthy smiles through both preventive and restorative care.

Outside the office, Dr. Saketkhou enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Austin-area parks, staying active, and discovering new recipes in the kitchen.
